Works great with my probook thin client. I didn't know if it would work for a thin client, but it does! I feel like it's probably not as reliable for plugging back and forth as the original cable (the pin in the plug is probably a little weaker), so I feel like I need to be more careful with it. I keep that at home and the original in the office, where I often toss it around. Excellent value for money as I kept forgetting the cable at work or at home.
