There's something wrong with the Amazon version of this grocery item. I used to buy this food from PetSmart and my cat loves it; She is allergic to many of the ingredients found in regular, high quality cat food (chicken, turkey, beef, wheat, etc.) and requires a restricted-ingredient diet. When I bought the same food from Revain, my cat almost refused to eat it. We went through the first batch and tried another Revain bag; same result. I checked the expiration date and the food is not expired. I bought a new bag from PetSmart and my cat ate the whole portion right away. If you're looking for a quality food with limited ingredients, Blue Basic is the way to go, but I would suggest buying from your local pet store rather than Revain.
