Review on Fake Potted Plants Office Farmhouse by Jason Masango

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's nice to use these fakes to fill in the blanks.

I am using this for shelf and tray vignettes in two different rooms. These are plastic plants in rustic cement pots. They stay beautiful and are easy to submerge in water when they get dusty. Don't wet it in the pot as the plant will get stuck in the styrofoam and likely ruin it. I have a few sparse spots in pots and when I tried to spread out the greens a bit some fell off. Each branch is unique so I couldn't put it back on the branch it came from. I was able to tuck it into an area that needed a bit more fullness. Good thing I couldn't find the piece it fell out of because it would be obvious that they would need to be put back together and these plants often look really wrong. The leaves and branches are random in size and height, and there are no obvious chunks in the branches that look like they have extra plastic that needs trimming. This is a win-win option when using artificial plants. And the pots are more rustic due to the sloppy look of the cement. These are solid pots, so they don't have to look like cheap planters. Overall, I think they work well as shelf or vignette accents, and their smaller size, under 12 inches, makes them more realistic. My only complaint is that I wish the foam that the twigs go into was either brown like dirt or had more twigs to fill it more so you can't see the styrofoam at all.
