I've only just started using it, but it's already an improvement over previous products I've tried for the following reasons. Luckily it doesn't smell like soap or potpourri or Vick's steam rub and doesn't sting my eyes all day like the others. No problem. Better than the alternatives I've tried. I chose Extra. Since it is a normal beard balm, it is really very hard. It took me a while to get used to it, but I simply scrape off the required amount with my 2.8 inch comb, apply and comb through with my comb. If I need more, just rub it between my fingers until ready to apply. never mind I had no visual impairment and had severe itchy eyes all day and all the time just to keep my beard from getting sloppy this was exceptional. It doesn't run into your mouth as much as gasoline, so there's no risk of a sore throat. Currently: recommended.
