Works for me on men

I don't have a fuller brush under my nose. I have fine white hair that curls and twists in different directions and I have chosen to let it grow out rather than trim it every 3 days. Wacky Tacky sounded the best, but apparently it's dark, not good for a gray mustache. Now, for every mustache wax, there's a compromise. One thing is the smell. All waxes smell because they're right where your nose is, and nothing on this planet is odorless. So you want something you can be "blind" to, or something

Extra Hard Hold Not quite

I've had facial hair for over 50 years, but my hair is thick, straight and curly so I always have to trim it close to my lips and under my nose. I don't have much experience with mustache wax, this is only the second one I've tried. A few years ago I tried Clubman and although I didn't know how to use it I was able to grow a mustache and curl my hair with it. But it's water soluble, so it usually didn't last all day. Exactly what I was looking for. Of course, without petroleum products, so that the eyes do not burn.

I've only just started using it, but it's already an improvement over previous products I've tried for the following reasons. Luckily it doesn't smell like soap or potpourri or Vick's steam rub and doesn't sting my eyes all day like the others. No problem. Better than the alternatives I've tried. I chose Extra.
