Sounds good. The J55s were very good and that's an improvement. Pros: The sound is very clear thanks to the large 50mm drivers. The base is better than the j55 and the overall sound is more refined than theirs. I was expecting more base, but it's still enough and you'll hear more about it as you keep using it. Sounds great in movies and games. Play horror or watch. It will be great. The only music genre missing is rock, but that's not a huge issue and it'll still be crystal clear, which really makes up for it. Pro 2: Comes nicely packaged with a cute pouch to protect your headphones from scratches. Pro 3: The frequency is really good and they can get really loud. Cons: Build sucks. You have to be careful because it is plastic and metal. As long as you can keep them safe, you should be fine. The actual drivers (speakers) are very large, probably not suitable for travel, but the trade-off is that you get crystal clear sound. A case will not protect your headphones. The bass could be a little better, but that's not the end of the world. Overall: For $40/50 they are excellent. They can compete with headphones in the 100-150 range (which is roughly their original price). I would say buy, burn (break) to get the full sound and enjoy.
