So I bought this CAI to replace my stock. I have a 2007 Crown Vic Interceptor. police package. This product is not compatible with the police model. MAF sensor is 80 instead of 70 on the civilian Vic. This caused my check engine light to come on, resulting in loss of power and increased gas mileage. From time to time my car would go into limp mode with the key on. I was very disappointed, but it's nobody's fault but K&n's for not telling consumers that the P71 has a Marauder intake with an 80 MAF sensor and is a great system. The sound on the k&n is excellent. But if you have a '04-later P71, then don't take this. If you look at the driver side side door you will see a multi letter number, if it has a P71 then it is a police pack and most likely has a larger MAF SENSOR. was also good against my balls.
