Two problems solved

I have a large kitchen table that has an annoying habit of walking around the kitchen. The floors are made of composite wood and the wooden floor slides very easily. Second, the table is too low for our kitchen chairs on wheels to slide under the table. These little guys solved both problems. === Good stuff ===* They hold the ground well. Our laminate composite floor is quite slippery, even athletic shoes don't always stick well to it. Those little legs manage to cling to it. You can still move the table, but you have to use enough force so that it doesn't happen accidentally. Even the dogs (3 big ones) running into it didn't seem to move the table. * The legs also added about 3/8 inch of vertical height to the table. This offered two advantages. First, the table is now high enough to fit the armrests of our chairs underneath, which keeps them out of the way. Second, air can now flow between the underside of the table and the floor. This keeps it clean and eliminates the nasty things that seem to live underneath.* The color of the modules goes well with my wooden table (pine). Although visible from the side, they disappear unless you specifically look for them. === Not good stuff ===* Legs come with screws and double sided tape already attached to them. I wouldn't trust duct tape to hold them onto anything moving sideways. The adhesive on the tape is not strong enough, especially if the table surface is slightly uneven, varnished or painted. I bought some heavier screws than the ones provided (#10, 2" stainless steel) because I didn't want them to pull out and damage the table. I chose stainless steel because I didn't want them to corrode, when exposed to moisture.===Summary===They worked great for my application, a table that doesn't move (and shouldn't move much) I'm glad I went with the larger screws, the plastic seems quite hard so I expect them to last quite a while.
