I have a 2008 3.5L Split Borla Supercharger -Exhaust. This is a cat back system but I installed it from the original muffler as the Borla muffler was too loud for me. Before installing the Flowmaster resonator I had a noticeable rumble when starting, accelerating and at high speeds. I was skeptical when I opened the box to find it was a straight-through side cam design and was disappointed when Flowmaster told me it wasn't a straight-through design. However. This really fixed my hum problem and the exhaust noise is much quieter. It still makes some noise under moderate to hard acceleration, but on the road it's almost completely silent. I can now easily hear tire and wind noise at highway speeds. I put it right in front of the silencer. Appears to be a quality product.
