Not perfect but I never travel without it

I bought one of these three years ago and haven't traveled without it since. It is multifunctional: ideal for supporting your neck on planes, cars and trains, comfortable for sitting on your lower back or changing clothes on a very long flight and useful in hotels when the included pillows are too hard. My sister was hospitalized shortly after the first purchase and when I visited I took her with me in case I needed to stay the night. When I saw her struggling to get into the hospital pillows, I passed it on - and that was the last thing I saw! I had to order a new one. She still uses it. When you fold it in half, it's a U-shape that wraps around your neck far enough to support it almost perfectly, but not far enough to grip your neck (a feeling I hate). When used flat, the center hole accommodates the round part of the head and the ring supports the neck. I'm giving four stars for two reasons. It's a little bulky but not heavy, and while it certainly fits in my saddlebag very easily, it doesn't fit with all the other stuff I'm trying to fit in there. It also doesn't fit over the handle of my trolley. I've used simple velcro to hang it on my bag and it works, but it's not perfect. Second, I have bulky on-ear headphones and that's a bit of an issue with my ears as they're big enough to hit in certain positions.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
