I have had this Conair curling brush for many years. The last one I had probably lasted ten years and I hope this one will be just as great. I've had this brush for about 4 months now and I like it even more than my old one. It is ideal for short to medium length hair, especially fine or straight hair. I have a haircut just below the chin that allows me to go from head part to beauty in less than ten minutes. The 1 1/4" size gives volume (no curl) and is ideal for evenly curling or fluffing hair. I sometimes use it vertically to alternate left and right curls for a less finished look. OF: Off From my own experience, I don't recommend using it on long hair (it can get tangled if wrapped around it too much.) Even shoulder length hair is a bit too long for it.Also, holding it in your hands can get tangled too close the scalp.
