This home test is very easy to use. The direction is clear. You remove the cap, treat the suspected area, replace the cap, snap off the other end to allow the test liquid to get onto the swab, then place five drops on the tester and wait 15 minutes. The reason for the two stars is that I used the first swab on a suspicious piece of furniture and one of the two testers gave a positive (bad) result. I used it a second time on another suspicious piece of furniture and the result was the same. Bad for asp/feather (see photo). I then used a third swab on a brand new piece of furniture and got the same result. I wish I had more things to control but with the information I have I highly doubt new furniture has mold. Most likely, the test is not accurate. I have already had a professional clear the area and will probably get a second opinion and deliver the same piece of furniture. If I choose to do so and the second opinion agrees with the test I will update this review, but in the meantime I would question the accuracy of these tests.
