This is excellent value for money, especially when compared to the Apple replacement. Image quality and brightness appear to be the same as the original screen. In addition, the built-in webcam outputs images at eye level with the original. If it is not an OEM part, it cannot be determined. Before installing, remove the clutch cover (black plastic strip) and make sure the screws that attach the hinges to the display are tight. The screen I received wobbled a bit after the initial installation which was fully fixed once these screws were fully tightened. I would buy it again in a heartbeat for my trusty Macbook Air, but will make sure all screws are tight before installing. .
