Excellent base layer. I got merino wool base layers for my trip to climb Kilimanjaro. Never had merino wool base layer before. This set was excellent. I used it as a base layer every night , slept in a tent and used a sub zero sleeping bag. I was comfortable and toasty.I used same type of layers for day hiking during the last 4 days of the hike when it hit colder ( 40 down to zero F). absolutely the best experience. I now want to wear merino wool everyday ( even when I go to the office).
