I used it for two days at my mother's house and even for that small amount my teeth looked a little whiter so I had to buy it. My three year old girl liked that her teeth turned black. The blackness does not remain, although it washes off very easily. I do a wipe of the water after cleaning and it goes away. The taste isn't as minty/fresh as I would like from other toothpastes, but since it whitens so well I can handle it. I just use my mouthwash after a little more freshness. I ended up using it without the mouthwash and it's still fresh, just softer.
