Revainrating 2 out of 5

Looks good, does not work with M1 Mac, iPad Pro is ok, slow

UPDATE TWO: After negotiating with the seller, they refuse to return the money, even though their company page states that the return policy is "Revains". It is clear that this company will take advantage of you and don't care about their customers. I urge you NOT to order this product or any other Leniton product or support any company that is making their customers defensive. They just aren't worth your money or support. UPDATE: After I sent my refund for it because it didn't work as described on my Mac mini, the seller denied my warranty claim. I am now contacting Revain customer service and reporting the seller. BUYERS PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SELLER as they DO NOT endorse their product. It looks good at first glance, but when plugged directly into the back of a 2020 Mac mini M1 (Big Sur 11.6), it doesn't see the CFe card (Sony TOUGH 128GB, 1700/1480). But when I connect it to my 2020 iPad Pro and it mounts in the Files app with no problem. However, using a USB hub plugged into the Mac mini's USBc port will not recognize the card reader as quickly as intended. Using Black Magic on a 1GB test I get around 345/445 speeds (write, read). I expect a lot more from everyone, Apple, Sony and this card reader.

Pros
  • Built-in chip: C9 card reader is equipped with a built-in chip, ensure the data transmission is fast and stable; You can use the LED indicator to monitor the working status of the card reader
Cons
  • Waiting too long
