Does the job for semiconductor products
Replaced my wife's older generation flat screen TV with Samsung's new QLED which only has Toslink optical audio output (or Bluetooth which wasn't an option). The digital optical output needed to be matched to their Bose Companion Series analog speaker system, so this unit was chosen for the task. Takes the digital output from the TV's Toslink optical output and converts it to the legacy RCA left/right channel and analog input connectors needed for Bose speakers. Nothing more to say - works as advertised.
