Good price but needs more mounting options

The price and basic design of this stop light is good but I am disappointed that the only mounting option seems to be to glue it to the back glass Glass. . My classic car has a rear defroster with wires running along the underside of the inside of the glass, making it risky to connect the light to the glass and potentially damaging the thin defroster wires. So I need to glue the bracket on the wooden frame and then attach the wooden frame to the car shelf.
