Review on Permatex 29208 Right Stuff Gasket by John Warren

I recently changed my transmission oil/filter and used a Permatex Ultra Black silicone gasket to seal the oil pan and it wasn't that good. My transmission pan was leaking like crazy. So I ordered this thing, dropped the pan, cleaned the mating surfaces with a wire brush and gave it a try. I have 100% leakage! However, this stuff is SUPER sticky and once you press the pan against the gear case, the silicone rubber will hold it in place. It's useful, but I have a feeling I'll probably have a VERY hard time removing the oil pan after 50,000 miles.
