I bought these shoes for my son. He was always exactly a size 10 but they were a bit loose in the ankle area. So I would say take half a size smaller. Although they are well made and look good. He said they are comfortable but he can't wear them if he walks a lot as they slip off even if the boots have foot and ankle pads.
