I have an iTouch recycle bin. I've never had such a smell in a trash can. Maybe because he's tall and thin. The filter that came with it didn't do anything. The company continues to send replacement reminders at a very high cost. I was about to replace the trash can, but I tried these filters and this trash can hasn't smelled since. Thank you as it is an automatic opener and it was expensive but the odor issue wasn't worth it. Very happy with these filters - and got four of them for a lot less than the cost of one of the branded iTouchs.
