We all have our cases/moving pros/nun cartridges on ALL our controllers and no matter how much you spend on rechargeable batteries it's a pain to take all of those off things to change. So it was a great alternative, nothing to disconnect/take apart or plug in! My only complaint is that the two included batteries don't seem to last that long, only around 2-4 hours, others last for days with at least 4-6 games. That, and sometimes you have to rock the controller on the stand a bit before it realizes you're charging it. But it's definitely better than alliteration, swapping out regular AA batteries, or taking everything off to get sick at another charging station! Update: All batteries stopped charging after 6 months ok as long as it lasted but I will try a different type of battery.
