This chopping board makes a great addition to my chopping board collection and is the perfect size for a countertop. It's also light enough that you can chop something on it and then take the board to the stovetop to scrape the leftovers into a pot or pan. The only change I would make would be to add a cut out handle on one end of the board. This can be achieved in two ways. 1. Round a sap groove 3 inches less than one end of the board and cut a hole for the handle there, or 2. Widen the wood three inches (to make 10 x 11 inches) and cut out the handle. hole there. However, this is a great cutting board.
