Review on ๐Ÿ’… Tweezerman LTD Spring Barrel Toenail Nipper by Tammy Larsen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a bit awkward to use at first, but once I figured out how to use it, it's awesome! High quality, comfortable grip and smooth cutting.

I've been considering buying a higher-quality nail clipper for some time. The small inexpensive ones that I seem to buy and lose all the time are actually not very well made and seem to lose their sharpness quickly and produce a jagged cut (or fail to cut through the nail at all and rip the nail). In fact, I've never seen anything like it before. I remember my dad had an expensive manicure and pedicure set that he bought decades ago on one of his overseas trips and they had several similar designs - they were very heavy and delicately worked, but they weren't that big. I was a little surprised when it arrived - it looks a little intimidating and powerful enough to belong in my husband's hand tool collection! Being a bit clumsy I was a bit apprehensive about using it at first, but it turned out to be pretty easy once I got the hang of it. I'm embarrassed to admit I wasn't quite sure how to use this mount and had to search the internet to see if the convex curve should be pointing towards the nail (no) or away from the nail (yes) . prevent injuries. . because none of the alignments seemed entirely right to me. The extreme ends of the curved portion don't cut at all - I'm not sure they should, but the middle portion of the wire cutters is very sharp and cuts effortlessly. It's definitely effective - my toenails are done in seconds (and my toes are still intact!). I am impressed with the quality of other Tweezerman products I have so am sure they will last for many years. . I am happy with my purchase and think my money was well spent.
