I didn't know that it only works together with an application that you download to your phone. I had to look at that and then explore the different features. The user manual is not complete. Twice I got images on the screen that weren't described in the manual and I didn't even try them all. I wrote to the manufacturer and got a helpful answer. It works great as a pedometer, as well as a heart and oxygen monitor. Not easy to use for training. I haven't even tried using Alexa because I don't see an explanation of how to use it.
