For the price it's excellent. Properly designed and clear communication at 65 mph.

Installed in full face flap. He routed the cables through the helmet liner. With speakers connected, the main wire goes to the back of the helmet, which then goes to a Y-cable that you connect one to the radio and the other to PTT. The Y-cable is separate from the headset cable and from the PTT line. My PTT is Velcro over the clutch lever, so I just put my finger on it to talk. This is ideally designed for a wired installation. I put the radio in the inside or outside pocket of my riding jacket. My friend was at his house with an actual radio and I was driving down a mountain road about 6 miles away (almost line of sight). He said I was clean with minimal street noise. I've since removed the microphone's foam cover and sealed the part of the microphone away from my mouth to block out road noise. Then I apply the foam again. I connected this device to a Baofeng that installed an additional 20 inch antenna. Now all I have to do is ask my riding friends to install a cheap and very useful solution. This way we can notify the group when one of us has to pull the road or sees a roadblock.
