I didn't have high hopes for this product but thought it would work the week I needed it. No, on the second day the microphone cable failed. Wouldn't recommend this for ATV use, too cheap. There are other products too.

I bought this product to use in a paintball mask. He has never seen the field. The connections on the headset loudspeakers were so brittle that they broke off the circuit board as soon as the mask was removed during the "comfort fit test". I don't know how they sound because I've never used them. Had I known they were so poorly connected/soldered I would have taken steps to avoid it (apply epoxy to hold them in place, re-solder the connection, whatever). Good luck with your persistence.

I took it apart and found that the wires inside the switch had come loose. With speakers connected, the main wire goes to the back of the helmet, which then goes to a Y-cable that you connect one to the radio and the other to PTT.
