Our town has switched from plastic to paper straws and our four kids don't like using textures. So I decided to try metal straws and help the environment at the same time. I like these straws for several reasons: 1) the metal is odorless so these straws don't alter the taste of drinks 2) they are easy to clean, especially with the brushes provided 3) I prefer curved straws but there are others in the house , which is straight. So it offers a good change. If I were to buy them again I wish they were all smaller. However, large ones are fine too, just not for kid-sized cups.
