Review on Magicteam Machine Natural Soothing Function Nursery ~ Décor by Candace Parker

This has to be one of the best white noise devices I've seen. The noise in his room really helps my son - we have an air purifier and a fan and these things have been magically helping him sleep through the night for over 10 years. I've tried several white noise generators, but most sound too out of tune and end up being more annoying than comforting. I even have one that is nothing more than a small fan where you can adjust the tone and volume by opening and closing holes. It's got some really good sounds - and way, way more variety than I was expecting. The crackling of the fire and the crackling of the firewood can also be heard at the campfire. The variety is outstanding. The volume control works well, giving you a good range of decibels depending on your needs. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the power plug. I absolutely hate this. They have a standard bottom entry cylinder port and a recessed design to be more flush with the floor. The problem is that there is no good way to find out. I couldn't do it with my fingers and nails, I couldn't even do it with needle nose pliers. You cannot easily grab the cable as it is a 90 degree connector. If you grab the cable to pull, it will eventually break. I ended up needing a knife to wedge it into the "top" of the connector against the wires, thus unscrewing it. Absolutely horrible way to do it. But that's the only thing I can fault. In every other respect, this is the best noise generator I've ever tried.
