Review on ASICS GT 2000 Lightning Black Men's Running Shoes by Tommy Rao

I bought this shoe for my husband because I already have it and love it. He was surprised because he didn't think he needed other sneakers. that was until he tried the GT-2000. He is now convinced that the gel sole and excellent fit of asic gel running shoes are far superior to those of other (even more expensive) brands. None of us are serious runners -- a few times a week at most, and then it's brisk or modified walking, not a real run. At our age (60 years) the strain on the back, knees and ankles of running is no longer acceptable and when I discovered running I was hooked. These shoes offer a lot of support and the gel sole is in the sole not the insole but in the sole of the shoe so if needed an orthopedic or other insole can replace the thin foam insert that comes standard and you still get that Gel. depreciation. I swap mine for Power-Step or Spenco insoles, my husband is happy with the standard insoles. I don't think any of us will be wearing anything other than Asics gels right now.
