I bought the clock because I needed a visual timer for my students when I wasn't using an overhead projector. Also for substitutes so they have a timer. I love it! The timer is permanently attached to the dry erase board. It can't be accidentally bounced or dropped when the dry erase board hit our school ball. The tone is adjustable. I have it at maximum volume. Students can easily see it from anywhere in the room. It was very helpful! A month after I received it, one of my students studied the knowledge too hard, had to go through a 60-minute queue, and it became unusable. But I told the company what happened and they sent me a new one for free. They responded quickly and it was shipped immediately. The only thing I would recommend is that you set the timer high so the students who aren't very curious and aggressively playful could pick it up and turn the knob too hard.
