I'm not sure why I was asked to rate "thickness" but when it comes to thickness of projected lights I see it as brightness. I love how I can make the light brighter or dimmer and I love the green starry sky on the ceiling and how I can just turn it on. It's not very easy to figure out how to set which lights you want to turn on, so you have to play around with the remote a bit. I also thought it was rechargeable because the description said a charging cable was included. It is not rechargeable, it is plugged in. Regardless, the lights are great once you figure out how to use and connect them. It would have been 5 stars if I had known it was plugged in from the start and I could have let the green star lights shine without them fading. It's worth it though and has many benefits as the lights are ideal for soothing night time illumination.
