I am starting a new life and I was looking for a carpet in my new apartment to cover the ugly kitchen floor. For $20 it was worth a try and turned out to be near perfect. Color is the same as pictured, it's not slippery at all, absorbs water if I spill, doesn't get caught on my toes, looks great, catches little things so they don't spill around corners. . . all sorts of things. Visitors even admire it. I've gone from a person who never bothers to clean the floor in the kitchen to a person who always stays clean. It's easy to toss in the laundry, takes up less space, and looks so good I automatically tidy up everything around it. . It doesn't bother me, but maybe for others.
