A good day finally came when the wind was blowing at about 20 miles per hour. The kite jumped out of my hands and pulled on the leash, wanting to climb. The whole line played out quickly and the kite was happy. With this wind the kite danced around and sometimes flew over my head. A pair of hawks flew in to investigate but decided they had better things to do. One of them was hanging in the closet so I used it to hold the kite line. Two hands on this reel gave me good control of the kite. I wish the handles were longer. =8-2I look forward to flying this beautiful kite again.
