Since I got used to it, I've mostly used full-size Windows keyboards with my Mac, but lately I've been trying wireless keyboards. This is the second one I've tried designed for Mac and iOS devices. The TL; DR is that this keyboard works great on Mac. It looks good (although it's silver and not 'grey' as described) and is a joy to tap into. is on, fairly quiet, and has some nice perks that other similarly priced keyboards don't have. This keyboard is a compact Mac keyboard with a number pad and a silver and white color scheme that matches the style of the Mac. It has a raised back that offers proper keyboard tilt and enough legs to support the entire keyboard. The included silicone keyboard cover is removable, washable, keeps the keyboard clean and provides a secure hold on the keys. The keyboard's rubber feet are grippy and keep the keyboard in place. The detailed manual is well structured and explains all features clearly and concisely. The keys are flat, square or rectangular. Backspace, Enter, Shift, Tab, and Caps-Lock are all full-size horizontal keys, which I prefer. Multiple devices can be selected using the selection keys at the top of the keyboard. A series of indicator lights show capital letters, the selected device, and charging/power status. While the lights are on all the time when the keyboard is active, they're pretty dim and sort of pastel in color, which I think works well. There's a calculator button in the top-right corner, which unfortunately doesn't do anything on a Mac. Power and a micro-USB port are on the back. The top row of keys doubles as F1-12 or the Mac's dedicated function keys. All function keys are labeled with their main and additional functions, which is nice. There's a lock feature that lets you set the default function keys to your liking, but turning off the keyboard reverts it back to the default. The stated battery life is 90 hours of continuous use, 90 days of standby time and <2 hours of charging. The initial loading time was only about 30 minutes. Under working conditions, it should last at least two weeks on a full charge. The keyboard automatically goes to sleep to save power, but wakes up with a single keystroke. The keyboard wakes up with a delay of a second or two, but I didn't notice any missing characters. I had no problem waking my Mac from sleep. So far I like the feel of this keyboard. The keys have enough travel that you can tell by touch when you've pressed a key, and they have a slight roughness that keeps your finger from slipping. As a result, the keyboard has great tactile feel, making touch typing very easy. The spacebar is very well supported and easy to hit anywhere along its length, but the other wide keys wobble a bit and are a little louder than the others. I didn't notice any significant lag when typing. The included silicone protector is a great option if you need one. It stays in place easily and sticks well to the keyboard. However, I did find that it really slowed my typing speed when using it - while the silicone is very grippy, it doesn't replace the tactile feel of the keys themselves, making the keyboard feel a bit soft and distant to me. When using it, I noticed an occasional double character that I haven't seen since I removed it. My only wish for this keyboard was that it be a darker gray to match the space gray of my trackpad and macbook. While iClever describes this keyboard as "gray," it's actually a lighter silver color that pairs well with older aluminum Macbooks.
