For reference I am a small, slightly corpulent woman, 1.60 m tall, 65 kg and have broad shoulders. I bought it to run cross country on hot days when I need more water to run 10km. Love all the storage pockets and my water stayed cool throughout the run. On the first mile, however, I wanted to rip the thing off my body. In order to properly secure it to my hips, I had to tighten the waist strap quite a bit, which caused the shoulder straps to come loose from my shoulders, leaving an inch of space between the straps and my shoulders. In addition, the mouth thorn kept rubbing against my arm. I'm sure this would work great for an average height adult. my husband to use.
