Review on Razer BlackWidow V3 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard: Green Switches - Tactile & Clicky - Chroma RGB - Compact Form - Programmable Macros - Quartz Pink by Brad Davis

So I recently installed BlackWidow v2. Whether you prefer a cheaper mechanical keyboard, forgo keyboards, or just want to upgrade, this is a great keyboard. However, if you already have a BlackWidow TE V2 TKL, I would recommend sticking with it. First, this keyboard costs $30 more than the V2 and doesn't have a palm rest. Not critical as I don't use palm rests, but it's absent. Another thing is that there is no detachable cable. Again, this isn't a problem if you're on a PC you never move, but some people like that portability. Another minor cosmetic difference is that the Razer logo under the spacebar isn't highlighted. I will say that the V3 TKL is much simpler, more minimalist, the buttons are not recessed and it is easier to clean. The black top bezel is nice, love the fact that there are LED indicators to let you know if caps are on, scroll lock etc. The RGB is great and can be pretty bright. But another difference I noticed between V2 and V3 is the keycaps. The V3's keycaps feel firmer and firmer, and the font is slightly larger. I like the green switches, they definitely don't wiggle much compared to the green G1s. All in all, if you want that number pad, you can't go wrong with the V3 TKL. The full size is literally $10 more, plus there's a dedicated volume wheel and multimedia button, as well as a palm rest. But if you're limited on the desktop or would rather forego the number pad, the V3 TKL is a great option.
