Machined after one month of use. I bought this collar over others because both the power button and charging port are on the bottom of the device and not on the side where other objects can damage it. Dog teeth while playing and the fact that the power button isn't covered in a thin, brittle plastic coating that cracks after a short time like other cheap collars. The collars create a powerful shock that goes through the silicone, which is good, but the prongs are too short to work well with my regular furry German Shepherds. And it looks like you can't replace the collar itself on the shock/vibration unit if the plastic fasteners fail, especially with dog teeth at play. can't see the display setting at all when needing to adjust the daylight shock level, especially with the stupid mirror coating on the lens. And the remote itself doesn't have a cover for the charging port, which leads me to believe it's probably going to get bad when I'm walking my dogs in the rain. 'Indoor use only' as you can't see the shock settings from the outside in daylight: that last part is downright ridiculous with that mind-blowing tech tint that acts like a mirror on the inside of the lens you need. scrape off by removing and replacing the cap and lens on the remote control or removing the lens entirely. Too bad my dog destroyed your cheap plastic collars before I could find a replacement and return this cheap dollar store junk for a refund. Not worth $75-80 in my opinion, but then again even the more expensive collars aren't worth it either as it's all cheap junk. Note: The same device is sold under different brand names, so this is a red flag.
