I've been using this scraper for a few weeks and am disappointed with the workmanship: 1. the blade is not aligned over the scraper. The blade is straight, but is held at an angle in the scraper2. Seams are bad. There are black spots and solder bumps.3. The rounded corners of the scraper end are dented. It looks like the parts weren't designed to the required tolerance to fit together exactly so they curled the ends to make it fit.4. When I press it to scratch, the blade moves back and forth. It doesn't snap into place like it should. You need to slide the slider forward and then pull back until it clicks into place.5. Blade does not retract smoothly. I have to play with the right amount of pressure on the thumb slider to retract the blade. I always know that I pay more for US instruments. However, the quality of this particular scraper is disappointing. I'm looking for recommendations for a quality replacement tool made in the USA.
