Review on πŸ•οΈ Winterial Lightweight 3 Person Tent - 3 Season Backpacking & Camping Tent with Rainfly, Included Stakes, Poles and Guylines - Orange by Jimmy Montalvo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good design, basic functions, light weight and reasonable price

Unpacked I am very satisfied with this tent. It's quite light, which is good as I plan to take it on a hike with my wife (in the photo of my backpack, orange bag, you can see it fully packed). Set up was quick and easy even with just one person and by choosing a 3 person tent instead of 2 my wife and I fit in perfectly leaving ample room for our hiking packs and gear. This tent folds very compactly and neatly, and I can easily hang it on the back of my backpack. The height is decent enough for you to crouch and move around in, but I should note that I'm 5ft 6in and there's just a little extra length from end to end. That being said, if you're taller, you'll likely need to be at an angle or in a semi-embryonic position to fit. Some nice features are the fact that it has entrances from 2 sides (only one side has the option for a covered canopy area) and the fact that while it doesn't have windows, it does have two nifty retractable vents on each side for ventilation if necessary the inside The outer shell of the tent is also lined with a silvery semi-reflective material which I assume is for warmth. There is also a small hook inside for hanging things on the roof and I am purchasing a small AAA battery operated LED pendant light which I think will work great. Just know that they have worked to keep the weight down so there are no extra features like internal hanging pockets etc. The design is very minimalist. Other than that, this tent seems to be of pretty good quality, especially for the price. The material does appear to be quite thin however which is to be expected as the design goal was light weight but I would definitely recommend that you get some sort of sub-tarp to protect the tent floor and also some duct tape and etc for emergency use. Perform patching in the field, just in case. Can't comment on the durability, wind and water resistance of this tent just yet, but I'll update my review and post more photos when we actually get a chance to get it on the trail. Thanks, people.
