Review on Swann DVR16 5580 DVR 5580 Channel Security by Jahan Arias

Personally I am not satisfied. The explanation is that I bought it at the end of April and it's now mid-June and I still can't get the system to work as efficiently as the latest Swann DVR. The problem is I had an 8ch and wanted to add cameras so I bought a 16ch and couldn't get it to work like my previous unit. The system is set to its lowest sensitivity and even if I leave leaves in the driveway the camera will email me. All cameras are set to their lowest settings and will continue to send emails regardless of setting changes. There's another issue about how it got so annoying. The system seems to shut down and reboot and send emails notifying me that each camera is online now. This happens at any time of the day or night. None of these issues occurred with my previous DVR and I'm considering switching to a different brand. I called Swann but he was on hold for too long so I gave it up for a while. I'll try again with some help.
