Ignore all the bad reviews about this little guy, it was probably user error on your part. The speaker is nice and loud and connects easily to iPhone and Android devices. If the phone is indoors 15ft behind a door/wall and there are no blackouts or interference floating in the hot tub when we are all in it. I also submerged it for a few seconds just to test its water resistance and although the speakers muted afterward, I gave it a few shakes to get the water out of the speaker holes and everything was back to normal. It can be expected that soaking the speaker in water can soften the sound! It was a Christmas present and was well received, you could even answer the phone with it. Charges in hours with the included micro USB cable and lasts all night. I will be using in the pool this summer.
