I'm pretty blind without glasses so I need a makeup mirror to stick right on my face while plucking or applying makeup. This is my first lighted mirror. It's good, but the on/off button isn't the most convenient. I wish it was a button, not a twist. If my fingers are wet from washing, forget it. It's also HARD. You will receive screws to attach and you will need them. This thing is just a monster. I also want the magnification side to be 10x like my last mirror. The 8x magnification is probably better for my self-esteem, but I wish I could still see all those tiny chin hairs that I used to be able to see with my 10x mirror. Apart from these small problems I like it very much. The swivel bracket is handy for adjusting the mirror and hanging a washcloth. And it's really beautiful and chic.
