3/5 stars later because the fragrance is so overpowering. Of course, this is subjective, but it seems to me that this is too harsh and "cheap" smell, similar to the smell of a dollar store or Pert Plus. It's bearable when it's over, but sometimes I get a headache washing my kids. We switched from Shea Butter Shampoo to J&J Shampoo because reviews mentioned it left their kids' hair soft and healthy. I agree; The girl's hair is soft, fluffy and looks healthy. It lathers well and feels like it's moisturizing hair during those dry winter months. When air drying or blow drying, the hair becomes thick and soft, which is very comfortable. Several times they fell into their eyes without tears and fuss, which is also a positive. The bottle could have been better framed, it's slippery. in the hands, and the cap is sometimes difficult to open. If J&J released an unscented version of this fragrance I would probably buy it for life and give it 5/5 stars.
