However, the price was the deciding factor for me. The price drop wasn't worth the cost in my opinion. I have a 1st gen iPad mini that works better. When FED EX delivered the item, it was in a bag marked VOICE OVER. every time the drawer moved, something or the other, so I immediately opened it to turn it off, which I found odd when it happened during a factory reset. The security seal was broken. The item looks brand new except there is some discoloration on the back of the bodice which bothered me. I've researched what could be causing this but haven't found a solid opinion. When I tried setting everything up to just try it out, being skeptical at first, I found touch disabled. I would have to click multiple times to register it. After everything was set up to scroll, I found that scrolling wasn't easy and was causing what I call crash flicker. The screen flickers and jumps back and forth as if something can be seen when there is a glitch. I don't know about the battery but I have other Apple products and even the setup took way longer than any other product I've bought. Yes the item is used and I want to be honest but this item was put up for sale not long ago and should at least work like new when offered for resale on Amazon. I would say that the overall quality of what matters, which is usage of the device, has dropped by more than 50%. I know some have found happiness with this company, I'm not at this point.
