Review on Anker Powerline II Lightning Cable (6Ft) Accessories & Supplies by Jared Winebrenner

My Super Power destroys Lightning cables

Sometimes I feel like I spent more on Lightning cables than my iPhone 6S+. I remember how the original OEM cable lasted a few weeks. Original Apple cables are always too short. My battery never holds a charge, so yes, I use my phone while it's charging. Apple designed the phone with a cable underneath. This means that "kink" will always be the design flaw that iPhone users struggle with the most. Battery cases aren't fun, so I need a durable Lightning cable. After my last syncwire cable couldn't take the "kinks" I started looking for a new option. I taped the old cable around while researching Revane for the next option. All of my store-bought cables have met their fate, while my online purchases have fared slightly better. So I read one review after another. I felt online dating was easier than finding a durable lightning cable. And then I see that there is a new version of Anker PowerLine. My excitement was palpable. Ordered right after reading the ad. I was in the parking lot of an electronics store. I left without buying a Lightning cable because I had killed almost everything they stocked before. I was excited for the arrival of my PowerLine II. I was expecting a lot based on the Revain listing. When I opened it, I immediately noticed that it's much smarter. It was a good sign! The connector was also solid and fitted my phone snugly. Charged fast. Very happy with the purchase, so far so good. "Bend" didn't kill him. No shocks resolve. No exposed wires. It works pretty much like the day it arrived (about a month ago). At this point I would expect wear and tear. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the "curvature" remains. I'd really like to see a company develop a cable that bends and just doesn't withstand the bending. I will also include a picture of how the cable now has a permanent bend. I really like this cable! Kudos to Anchor. When six months pass I will update this review.
