Essential for students! I have raved about and recommended this topic to people in my program so many times. I have bought 3 lamps very similar to this one in the past. I have one on my bedside table that I carry until I fall asleep, one on my desk and another that I bought to travel with when I study at the school library. Daylight is set most of the day, I love how the light spreads across most of my desk, which as an optometrist student is extremely helpful with all my notes. Other lamps diffuse the light up to the ceiling, which is not very pleasant for tables. It is thin (can be folded) and does not take up much space. I use the warm setting at night when my eyes need a rest and darken it to the lowest level. This is the best quality of any I've ever bought. It's not heavy, but more durable than the flimsy ones I've had in the past. Other similar lights use USB-C for connection, which loses connection after a while, but this one has a solid connector for the power cord. I will most likely buy more!
