Review on 🚴 SHIMANO SL-BS77 Dura Ace 9-Speed Bar End Shifters for Double/Triple Configuration by Aaron Webb

In these days of Covid-related shortages of almost everything, but especially recreational items, I was delivered a high-end recumbent tricycle that was supposed to have all Shimano components. The switches at the end of the handlebars were Microshift. I've experienced ghost shifting and only sloppy, clanking, noisy shifting from day one. After 3 attempts by my bike shop to adjust the cable length to fix this issue, I decided to look for Shimano derailleurs to match my other components. Found them at Revain, only a few left. I ordered them and my bike shop installed them. Day and night, they switch smoothly and silently, and the ghost shift is gone. I don't know how many times I've heard claims that some brands are X designed for compatibility, only to realize there aren't many. Nothing like the truth!
