Easy to set up, beautiful clean look. The kit includes wireless LED lights that run on 3 AA batteries. I prefer that to a string sticking out of the wall. You can place lights below or above the tank. Lamps provide excellent lighting. Not too light, not too dark. I see the Pisces enjoy this light because it is not overwhelming. Another bonus is that there is a feeding hole on the front of the aquarium lid. There is a cable hole on the left rear side in case you decide to place the heater in the tank. This wire hole has enough room for two large wires. I have tons of different types of betta tanks. This one is the best in my opinion. It's the easiest to clean all the tanks I have. It looks better than the more expensive tanks I own and is very roomy. This is a great price for a simple, clean, and easy to set up betta aquarium. I highly recommend choosing one of these aquariums over other similarly priced aquariums (or even the most expensive betta kits). I live in Colorado so I put a heater in the tank in the winter. But most of the year the room is so warm that I don't need heating. Looks very nice, no protruding cords. Plus, since you don't need a wire to turn on the light, you can place this tank in most places where it wasn't previously possible. I love this aquarium and you can't beat the price! Update (2016-01-06): I've added two photos of my new clawfish. It's bigger than most Bettas I've owned and feels quite roomy for him.
