I was surprised to see this was a part. I thought it was a separate top half and back half, but I had to move a bit to insert the remote. But once he got in, he came up like a glove. FYI, using a flat finger to press the buttons is sometimes the best way to use your fingernail on the remote, as the plastic is slightly higher than the buttons for some functions. It is therefore best to use a fingernail.
